On 29th June 2024, Gordon & Hilary Lewis, Owen Powell, and several supporters are undertaking a sponsored walking half-marathon along the beautiful Ceredigion coast to raise money for Care for Uganda (www.careforuganda.org registered charity number 1099797) I am also cycling over 700km in Normandy and Brittany between 6th and 12th June.

Over the last 15 years we have trained over 300 village volunteers in basic health care and health promotion. We provide continuing support and refresher training sessions.

We have also provided ten motorbike and sidecar ambulances and continue to pay for the running costs of the service.

They continue to provide an essential service to local communities in a desperately poor rural area of central Uganda.
