Established in 1989, Labrador Welfare is a small, breed-specific registered charity (No. 1012192), run entirely by a small group of unpaid but very dedicated volunteers who work hard to rehome Labrador Retrievers that, through no fault of their own, need help to find new loving homes.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Two years ago, our now 11 year old Labrador Jenna and myself did a very successful North Sea swim challenge to raise much needed funds for Labrador Welfare. As Jenna s mobility has now significantly decreased, her younger “sister” Lottie, our 2 year old yellow Labrador is taking up the mantle to walk 100 miles with me over the course of the next month, beginning tomorrow and ending on 14th November.

Some of you will know that I had a bad ankle break last December followed by a knee ligament injury in July, but while I am back to relative fitness I’m going to try to complete this challenge and stay on two feet! Steve tells me he will help out if the going gets tough!

This organisation is run entirely by volunteers who do amazing work in rehoming Labradors who have lost their homes for a variety of reasons. All donations would be most gratefully received. Thank you in advance!
