I’m swimming the English Channel this year. I want to use the opportunity to honour some important people in my life and one of them is Issi who died far too young.

I did the virtual channel challenge for Diabetes UK in training and the virtual team were so lovely so I wanted to continue raising money and awareness with my actual channel crossing. Issi had type 1 diabetes so this is a cause close to my heart.
