I'm running the London Marathon to raise money for Lupus UK in memory of my mum, Hiral Patel. She passed away in April 2020 after a fourteen-year battle with the disease.

Most people don't know what lupus is, and diagnosis takes over seven years on average (longer than it did in the 1990s!). The charity I'm running for is the only national charity in the UK that funds research and supports patients approaching diagnosis.

Therefore I'd be extremely grateful for any donations to help a cause in urgent need of support!
