If like me you have been watching in horror of the catastrophic, manmade, humanitarian crisis thats happened and continues in Gaza and the West Bank, you will have felt helpless. All we can do is peacefully protest, raise awareness, raise money for charities working on the ground and support Palestinian trade.

If you’ve been following, the winter is setting in in Gaza and 2 million people have been displaced or are homeless according to the UN, thats their whole population pretty much! Their tents are flooded and are being washed away, aid is still limited and according to ground sources, the bombings continue despite the “ceasefire agreement”.

Medical Aid for Palestinians is a charity that provides immediate medical aid to those in great need, while also developing local capacity and skills to ensure the long-term development of the Palestinian healthcare system.

So thank you for joining this message of peace event, a chance for us to get together before the chaos of Christmas and be thankful for our family, friends and security. Xxx
