Santa in the City · 5 December 2024

Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

Thank you so much for visiting our page!

Members of the Hugh James Private Wealth Disputes team (Roman, Kate, Ryan, Elise, Kieran, Emily, Tori, Sarah, Gwenllian and Ellen) are taking part in the "Santa in the City" run through London on Thursday 5th December.

Whilst the route itself is only 4.5km, please note that each and every one of us will be donning entire Santa suits (hat, beard, jacket, trousers and belt) to do this. We have also decided to "spice" things up by being paired up for the run, which will involve being attached by some sort of object (the funnier the better). We are taking this competition very seriously...

We are raising money for the British Heart Foundation and we would be so grateful for your support. The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only through fundraising and donations that BHF can create new lifesaving treatments and discover new cures. As little as £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist to conduct key research, but every single pound and penny helps. We know things are a little tight recently for everyone, but anything you can give for this amazing charity, and to help us hit our target, would be gratefully received and appreciated.

Thanks!
