A number of the HLW team are taking on the challenge of a Halloween 25km walk in London on the 28th October 2023, to raise money and awareness for the charity Sands. We are incredibly proud to be walking for Sands who support anyone affected by pregnancy loss or the death of a child. They carry out vital work to improve maternity safety through research, campaigning for change and working with the government to reduce inequalities in healthcare to save babies lives. Currently in the UK, 13 families a day suffer the heartbreak of losing a child before, during or after their birth – this is what they are trying to change.

HLW hold this charity close to our hearts as it has not only supported members of our team, but many close friends and family to many.

' The loss of a baby can mean complete and utter devastation. It is often a difficult topic to bring up and discuss with colleagues, friends and even family.

Together, we can break the silence and shed some light on these heartbreaking experiences. Your donation can offer some much needed help for bereaved parents who are going through the worst period of their lives. It is a way for you to help even if you don’t know what to say or do.
