Over the years, my dad William and I have undertaken a number of challenges and competitions together. On Sun 8th June, we (with a combined age of 122 😆) will be taking on our biggest challenge yet by walking the East Highland Way - a 132-kilometre trail from Fort William to Aviemore to fundraise for Alzheimer's Research UK (ARUK), a charity that is very close to our hearts.

Currently, the diagnosis of Alzheimer's dementia takes a long time (as it did for my mum), and there are very few effective treatment options. Donations to ARUK will help scientists and researchers find new ways to diagnose dementia, develop new treatments and find a cure for dementia.

Any donations will be greatly appreciated.
