The Hobbs Rehabilitation Family Takes on the Romsey Relay Marathon in memory of our missed friend and co-founder, Nicky Ellis

Hobbs Rehabilitation is raising money for Ovarian Cancer Action
In memory of Nicky Ellis

Romsey Relay Marathon · 18 May 2025 ·

We are the UK’s leading ovarian cancer research charity. In the UK only 1 in 3 women live more than 10 years after diagnosis. We are working to better prevent, treat and detect ovarian cancer, so that by 2032 at least half of women with ovarian cancer live for 10 years.

Story

We’re lacing up our running shoes once again for the Romsey Relay Marathon on Sunday 18th May at the beautiful Broadlands Estate.

This year, our team is running again in loving memory of our much-missed co-founder, Nicky Ellis. Alongside Helen Hobbs, Nicky was the heart of Hobbs Rehabilitation, full of energy, compassion, and always the first on the dance floor.

We would be incredibly grateful for your support as we raise funds in Nicky’s honour. Whether you’re able to donate or simply cheer us on from the sidelines, your encouragement means the world to us.

Ovarian cancer is the deadliest gynaecological cancer in the UK, taking the life of a woman every two hours. To learn more or find out how you can help raise awareness, please visit: www.ovarian.org.uk

Thank you for helping us keep Nicky’s spirit alive. We hope to see you there!
