Across the month of May, as we launch A Holding in person and online, I'd like to try and raise some money for Shelter.

A Holding covers themes of home, belonging and loss. Its about all the places we've been - and one of the places I've been is homeless. More than a dozen years ago now, myself and my little family spent over two years as a housing advice case and six months living in a hostel before we moved to our current home. One of the things that got us the information we needed in a very complex situation was the Shelter Legal Line.

Home is everything - and housing is a human right. The current economic and political climate mean home is more important than ever. I'd like to help Shelter keep campaigning for all the things they fight for: more social housing, tenants rights, fair rents and safe homes for all.
