The NWAA is a vital lifeline for our region. Their helicopters and rapid response vehicles bring hospital-grade emergency care directly to the scene of an accident—whether that’s on a remote trail, a busy motorway, or a rural village. Because they can reach patients quickly and carry advanced medical equipment, they truly are the difference between life and death.

What many people don't realise is that the North West Air Ambulance Charity receives no government or NHS funding. They rely 100% on the generosity of supporters like you to keep their crews in the air and on the road 365 days a year.
