Story
James, Chris and Paul are 3 friends who like a walk, usually to a pub. However, in September they are embarking on a hike in the Chiltern Hills to raise £1,500 for the amazing suicide prevention charity CALM.
James lost his sister two years ago. To not have somebody like Elizabeth in the world is crushing.
It can be hard to know when someone is struggling because the stigma often means people keep quiet until it’s too late to help.
James’ life, and the life of his family, has been forever changed by suicide. The loss is a chasm; an unsolvable riddle filled with so many ‘what if’ questions.
The support given to people in need is scant, we’d like to help change that.
If you are able, PLEASE donate to our huge hike – we'll be hiking 30km through the beautiful Chiltern countryside. We haven't managed to do any training yet and we are already terrified! We're appreciative of any support, and any money donated will spur us onto the finish line.
Thank you.

"We’ll walk for those we’ve lost. We’ll walk to celebrate those who've survived. And we’ll walk to smash the stigma around suicide and get people talking. This isn’t a walk in the park - it’s a life-changing (and life-saving) trek."
