At the start of this year, we lost my amazing Dad, Colin Bayley to cancer.

He put up a tremendous fight but in the end, we needed the professional care of the Douglas Macmillan Hospice. The Dougie Mac is an incredible charity. They were truly there when we needed them, providing a dignified, comfortable and homely stay for my family when we just needed to be together. The loss of my dad has been earth shattering but we take comfort in knowing the end of his journey was handled in the best way possible, we will always be grateful for that. Life can be cruel and you never know when you or your family may need a charity like this. Myself, my mum and family members are taking part in the Moonlight Walk to raise money for the amazing work the Dougie Mac do, in memory of my Dad. It would be wonderful if we lived in a world where this charity wasn't needed, but unfortunately that isn't the case. Please donate if at all possible, every single penny helps.
