Story
In November 2025, I sadly lost my wonderful nan after a long and heartbreaking battle with Alzheimer’s and Dementia. These cruel diseases slowly took pieces of her away, and watching the person we loved so much gradually decline was incredibly difficult for our whole family.
My nan was such a special part of our lives, and in her memory, I am taking on the challenge of walking 26 miles to raise money for an incredible charity that supports families and those who suffer with Dementia and Alzheimer’s. This is my way of giving back and helping others facing the same struggles that we did.
My close friend Sophie will be right there beside me walking for her grandad who is currently in hospital and knows firsthand the challenges faced.
Sadly, I know so many families going through the pain of watching someone they love deteriorate and the impact is truly devastating for all.
Any donation, no matter how big or small, would mean the world to me and will help support the amazing work this charity continues to do.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story, and for any support, donations, or kind words along the way. It really does mean so much.
