Story
We are running 26.2 miles in the 2025 TCS London Marathon to support the MS Society.
Roly was diagnosed with MS during the Covid pandemic in 2020, he’s an anaesthetist and at the time he was working on a busy ITU in Liverpool. It’s through research and the development of highly effective treatments that he has been able to continue working and living a busy, active lifestyle
Roly’s diagnosis gave us the final push to move out of the city, we left our jobs and relocated to the countryside, finding new jobs near our home in the Cotswolds but making sure our focus was much more on life than work. In June of this year, we were lucky enough to welcome our first child and decided that we wanted to support the MS society, a charity that has helped make this life possible! We are running the London Marathon next year and are grateful for every donation, it will keep us going through the training!
The MS Society fund vital research into the causes of MS and possible treatments. They provide a helpline service, answering the calls of those looking for advice and support. They believe that together, we are strong enough to stop MS.
