Story
Hi everyone,
As some of you may know, over the last 3 years I have been on my own health & fitness journey, losing over 110lbs.
My biggest supporter in all of this was my beautiful mum (Gail Caldwell), who I sadly lost, very suddenly, on 5th March 2026.
Alongside one of my best friends Rebecca, we have decided to take part in the women's doubles Hybrid Games event on 10/10/26 in Glasgow. We both are doing this as complete newbies, having never taken part in an event like this before.
This will really push me to the boundaries, physically and mentally but I know on the day my beautiful mum will be with me all the way.
I am doing this to fundraise for Cruse Scotland (specifically Glasgow) who helped me in the initial months after mum passed. Cruse is one of the only initial Bereavement Support charities I could find, which I think is shocking given that grief will effect us all in different ways throughout our life.
They run solely on donations and fundraising and their support has been invaluable to me as I navigate the worst time in my life.
Below I have popped some information about their supports and what they can offer, alongside The Hybrid Games information.
Any donations or shares would mean the world.
Thank you all, so much.
Hollie x
