I’m excited to share that I’ve been selected to participate in Trek for Health 2027!

In February 2027, I’ll take on a 7-day challenge to climb to the summit of Mount Kenya, pushing myself physically and mentally every step of the way. Alongside this trek, I’ll have the privilege of visiting Save the Children and Amref Health Africa programmes in Kenya – the very communities and health systems that some of my fundraising will directly support.

Mount Kenya is the highest mountain in Kenya and the second-highest in Africa, after Kilimanjaro. I’ll be climbing to the peak of Mount Kenya reaching an altitude of 5,199 metres!

I am one of 40 employees across GSK and ViiV Healthcare, representing 19 different countries, coming together with one shared goal: to help improve health and protect futures. Organisations like Save the Children work tirelessly to uphold children’s rights, health, and futures in some of the world’s most vulnerable communities. Amref Health Africa strengthens healthcare systems from the ground up – training health workers, improving access to care, and making sure that life-saving services reach the people who need them most. Their work is truly life-changing.

I’m proud to take on this challenge in support of our global health partners. Together, as a Trek for Health team, we aim to raise over £180,000, which will be matched by GSK, doubling the impact of every donation.
