This October, I will be travelling to Kenya with Amblecote Community Church, in partnership with Route 61, a charity dedicated to supporting vulnerable communities. Together with a team, we will be involved in a variety of projects aimed at bringing hope, dignity, and practical support to those in need.

Our work will include:

Visiting remand centres to spend time with young people in difficult circumstances.

Holding a social work conference to share skills and strengthen local support systems.

Speaking with Christian leaders to encourage and equip them in their community work.

Leading workshops to support women, including vital education around feminine hygiene and the distribution of products.

Collaborating with the community to create a piece of art that celebrates resilience and unity.
