I met Maggie's through a talk arranged at work (Airbus) and was honestly blown away by what they offer to those who really need it. I initially signed up to take part in this event through my love of dance. Little did I know that my family was about to be shocked with the news of Cancer and that on the night Mum and I went to see the Centre and meet the team taking part in this years' event - my Mum would soon be diagnosed with Cancer and so would my Uncle.

At Maggie’s we help people take back control when cancer turns life upside down, with professional support for anything from treatment side effects to money worries. Our support is free, & no appointment or referral is needed. Funding will help us to continue to provide our blend of emotional & practical support for everyone who needs it on the Wirral. We receive no government funding and are proud of the strong community of people who support our centre with fundraising.

I'm incredibly honoured and excited to be supporting such an amazing place in an event that is an absolute passion of mine - dancing!
