I'm running for Home-Start UK because I have heard wonderful stories of how their work has benefited families all over the UK and helped to give young children a better start in life.

One of my work colleagues volunteered for Home Start many years ago and has told be about how much of a difference the support from a charity like Home Start can bring to families. They are a lovely charity that builds connections and help to improve the lives of thousands of people.

In 2025, I set out with the goal of running my first half marathon. On the 31st October I managed to complete this challenge. Looking ahead, I wanted 2026 to hold an even greater challenge and what better way to challenge myself than to run a marathon for Home Start. I'm so grateful to be given the opportunity to achieve one of my greatest goals whiles raising funds for such a worthy cause.
