Abergavenny 3 Peaks Challenge, fundraising for Prospect Hospice

St John's staff is raising money for Prospect Hospice

Abergavenny 3 Peaks Challenge · 13 June 2026

Prospect Hospice provides end-of-life care to people and offers support to their loved ones. Our specialist teams provide care that is tailored to the needs of each person. All our care is provided free of charge and it costs £10.5 million to run our services. Your support is vital to our care.

Story

Following our fantastic Yorkshire 3 Peaks hike last year (cover photo), St John's staff have decided to take on the Abergavenny 3 Peaks Challenge on Saturday 13th June. This is a 20 mile circular walk that includes the Blorenge, the Sugar Loaf and the Skirrid, which we aim to do in under 11 hours.

This year, we felt that our adventure would be a great opportunity to raise some money for Prospect Hospice which, like many other hospices, is facing a funding crisis.

Prospect Hospice supports patients and families across Swindon, Marlborough and the surrounding areas and has touched the lives of many in our school community; parents, students and staff.

All donations are very gratefully received.

Thank you

Penny, Holly and the rest of the team
