Friends & Families is an amazing local Charity based in Plymouth that I have had the absolute pleasure of being part of for 4 years.

Through my time here, I have run playgroups, helped completed hundreds of DLA and PIP forms, supported parents and carers through tough and heartbreaking times, and been in awe of the strength and resilience of everyone I’ve met.

I’m raising money to support this valuable charity so on December 5th I will be racing in a HYROX Challenge in London with my friend Amy. During this challenge I will be completing these challenges against the clock:

- 8km run, broken into 1km between the below activities

- 1000m Ski Erg

- 50m Sled Push of 102kg

- 50m Sled Pull of 78kg

- 80m Burpee Broad Jumps

- 1000m Row

- 200m Farmers Carry with 16kg Kettlebells

- 100m Lunges with 10kg Sandbag

- and 100 Wall Balls of 4kg.

It will be hard work but with the money raised, it will be worth it!

Donations will go towards the continuation of activities and if I raise enough, purchase of specialist equipment that families can borrow through the Lending Library.

All donations will make such a difference. I know times are tough, especially with the Cost of Living Crisis. Small charities are finding it increasingly difficult to secure funding to continue their vital support. With money raised, it will help the vital support to continue.
