Holly's fundraiser for Crisis

This November, I will be embarking on a huge challenge: trekking 100km across the Sahara Desert to raise funds for Crisis and the Simon Community in Northern Ireland.
Over five demanding days, I will face blistering heat—and the inevitable blisters on my feet—endless sand dunes, and long hours of trekking each day. While this will undoubtedly test my physical and mental endurance, the challenge is nothing compared to the struggles faced by those experiencing homelessness every day.
Crisis, Lloyds Banking Group, and Simon Community believe everyone should have a safe and secure place to call home. Our ambitious partnership will improve access to truly affordable, high-quality homes and provide tailored support for those who have experienced homelessness to rebuild their lives and reach their full potential. Together, we have surpassed £3 million in fundraising from this partnership—an incredible achievement—but we can't stop here. More people than ever across the UK are facing homelessness and are in need of our support.
By donating to my fundraising campaign, you will be supporting these incredible charities in their mission to tackle homelessness head-on. Every pound raised will go directly to Crisis and the Simon Community to provide essential resources and support for those in need.
Your generosity can make a real difference. Whether you can contribute a little or a lot, every donation counts. If you are unable to donate, sharing my fundraising page or spreading the word would be equally invaluable.
In the lead-up to this challenge, I will be putting in countless miles to prepare and will share my training journey on this page. I’ll also be hosting events, challenges, raffles, and anything else I can think of to boost donations.
Thank you so much for your support. Homelessness is not inevitable; together, we can end it.
