This June, along with my best friend Steph, lots of other heroes, Gi Fletcher and some famous faces, I will be hiking approximately 100km across 5 days in the Brecon Beacons mountain range in Wales, UK…all in the name of checking chests and saving lives. 

My adult life has been touched by cancer in so many ways. In 2016 we had the devastating experience of losing our beautiful best friend Alex to cancer and this experience changed our lives forever. Shortly after we lost Alex, my lovely Mum and another close fabulous friend were diagnosed with breast cancer. Both are now surviving and thriving thanks to early intervention, so Coppafeel and raising awareness of checking your boobs are especially close to my heart. These past two years saw my fellow ‘trekker’ and bestie Steph also diagnosed with cancer. It’s been a tough time, for her and her family and friends, but I’m happy to say she's now in recovery and smashing it!  

This trek will be such an achievement for us both. We want to show you that anything is possible and you should go and grab life..and your bits! 

Oh and finally, anyone who knows me knows how much I loathe camping. So double thanks for your support while I process 5 days in a tent!
