Story
One night after finishing work I had a wild Mama moment & scooted into my son Theo’s room & asked him if he fancied jumping out of a plane with me to raise money for Eden Valley Hospice & Jigsaw Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice. He said yes & Andy piped up to say he’d love to as well, so we set the wheels in motion & applied.
The medical form arrived, I panicked about my BMI and delayed completing my application until I’d lost weight, only then to discover all the places were full!! Phew!
I went to watch Theo & Andy jump, looking on from the ground thinking blimey I’m pleased that’s not me! 🤣
But a deal is a deal & therefore 2026 marks my turn to jump!!
I’m absolutely terrified! I’ve no doubt I’m gonna scream from start to finish, I’m just hoping I don’t pass out or throw up! I struggle to watch the videos when Theo & Andy tumble out of the plane. I f**king hated roly polys at school & this adult version is certainly not appealing to me one bit!
So if you can spare anything to support me on this crazy adventure then I’d be hugely grateful, it truly is a wonderful local charity, that I feel honoured to work for as they provide next level care 💜
I’ll be taking part in the Tandem Skydive on 31st May 2026 to raise vital funds for Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice. The Hospice provides dedicated care and support to local adults and children living with life‑limiting conditions. Your support would truly make a difference- any donations would be greatly appreciated.
Big Love,
Hols x
P.S. The attached skydive picture they’ve chosen to use is Andy!!! 😵💫 So as I say, there’s no backing out of this! Gulp!
