The sea has a powerful way of helping us reset - encouraging us to pause, breathe deeply and feel part of something bigger. Cold water can boost mood, build confidence and bring people together, all of which are so important for our wellbeing.
Sea dips have been a deeply important part of my mental health journey. Over the past 18 months, as I’ve navigated grief, they’ve offered me much needed space, clarity, and moments of real respite. This event feels especially close to my heart because of that, and I’m incredibly grateful to be taking part.
On Sunday 26th April, I’ll be taking part in Dip for Mind at Sunny Sands to raise vital funds for South Kent Mind, our local mental health charity.
Whether you’re a regular dipper or new to cold water, this event is about community, connection and supporting a cause that makes a real difference close to home.
Every pound raised will stay local, helping ensure that no one in South Kent has to face mental health challenges alone.
