Last year my incredible colleagues and I took on David Goggins 4x4x48 challenge to raise much needed funds for the hospice and to support accessible activities for the amazing children and young adults we’re lucky to care for.

In 2023 4 staff did the whole thing (known as the Core Four). Now we’ve shown other members of the team it can be done, we’ve got a cracking line up! We’ll have guest runners from the other departments too. Things might get a little competitive.

Innowalk will also be in attendance to support the kids to get involved and we’ll get as many of them out with us as we can! The dog lap will also return this year.

From 12pm on March 1st we will run 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours. The challenge is crazy so we’ve set a crazy fundraising target. We’ve been there when the children and young adults achieve incredible things, we’re hoping we can do something incredible for them! The funds will go to supporting the hospice and buying specific equipment and activities to benefit the Children and Young Adults.
