A parent from Sandon school with the help of her family, friends and members of the FOSS committee is embarking on walking the first part of the Hertfordshire Way from Royston to Sandon all dressed up in inflatable dinosaur suits!!

This will be followed by a prehistoric picnic in the grounds of Sandon JMI School.

This won’t be an easy task as the suits are not breathable so it is like being in a personal sauna, coupled with the fact most of the walk is uphill!

Sandon school is a wonderful, nurturing school so please give all you can :)

The walk will be leaving Royston Cross at 11.30am walking towards the Heath then up to Therfield , stopping at the Fox and Duck before walking on to Sandon where we finish with a prehistoric picnic.

Why not come and see if you can find the herd of 5 dinosaurs walking through the countryside!!
