In 2021, my grandfather was diagnosed with vascular dementia. Shortly after my family moved into his home to help care for him, and for the next few years, we witnessed firsthand the toll this disease takes. Sadly, he passed away in May of 2024.

The experience opened my eyes to the lack of resources and support available for patients, caregivers, and families navigating this journey.

For that reason, I’ve chosen to dedicate my upcoming boxing match this November to raising funds for The Dementia Society, in hopes of contributing to greater care, education, and support for others facing dementia.
