Story

Holly, her dad Shaun, her Auntie Sarah, Uncle Graeme and cousins George and Barney are doing the Marsden March on 14th May 2023 to raise funds for the Royal Marsden hospital who have been brilliant with Holly's mum, Jo. This is a 15 mile walk from the Royal Marsden hospital in Chelsea to the Royal Marsden hospital in Sutton.

Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. We ensure our nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world.

From funding state-of-the-art equipment and groundbreaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, we will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.

Crikey, we're just over a week to the Marsden March. Thank you to everyone who has sponsored H - it's for a brilliant cause.

H and Shaun have been working hard. They did the trek across Farthing Downs and Happy Valley, while I got the bus and met them in the pub. Training is going well, anyway. She has special socks that stop you getting blisters - not sure how that works though.
