Hello!
This year I will be doing something VERY out of my comfort zone, and running the Robin Hood Half Marathon in support of the 50:50 appeal at Nottingham Playhouse.
As you may be aware, as a part of my role as Marketing Officer (Audience Development) at Nottingham Playhouse, I have the absolute privilege of working with our community and welcoming them into the building to see theatre and engage with the arts, potentially for the first time. 50:50's ticket donations to food banks, hospitals, and local community groups helps overcome barriers to the arts.

The appeal raises funds that allow communities that have barriers preventing them from engaging with arts and cultural opportunities - whether they be those financial, geographical, medical or otherwise - to come and experience live theatre for free.
