Story
In November 2024, my dad was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer — an aggressive and rare form that makes up just 10–15% of lung cancer cases.
He underwent surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy with the strength he has shown his whole life, but unfortunately in December 2025 we were told the cancer had returned and it was not treatable.
My dad has always put others first. He served as a Royal Marine in the Falklands War, fighting for our country. He has spent his life giving — to his family, his friends, and his community. He is my hero.
This July, myself and Chloe will be doing a skydive to raise money for a charity supporting families like mine who are facing the reality of lung cancer.
The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation works to improve the lives of people with lung cancer by funding vital research to detect the disease earlier and develop better treatments. They also provide practical, emotional and personalised support to anyone affected, helping people and families through diagnosis, treatment and beyond.
Together, our six minute skydives will help fund twelve hours of vital cancer research and support.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
If you can’t donate, sharing this would mean a lot 💙
