I’m taking on the Swansea 10K to raise money for Neath Port Talbot Stroke Group, a charity that is incredibly important to me.

Stroke has affected my family in so many ways. My grandfather suffered a stroke, and most recently my father-in-law has also experienced one. Seeing first-hand the impact a stroke can have, not only on the person affected but on their loved ones too, has shown me just how important the right support is during recovery.

Neath Port Talbot Stroke Group does amazing work supporting stroke survivors and their families, helping to improve recovery, rebuild confidence, and reduce isolation through social activities, support, and friendship. Their work makes a real difference to people’s lives, and I’d love to give something back to help them continue providing this vital support.
