Two of my children and I are participating in the annual sponsored Ride & Stride for Friends of Kent Churches, by walking about 10 miles between 22 churches in and around Tunbridge Wells.

Historic churches are important to our towns and villages - but are expensive to maintain, and it often falls to a small community of worshippers. Friends of Kent Churches helps with grants - so we're joining their Ride & Stride for the 9th consecutive year. Thanks in advance for your support - it makes a huge difference both to us and to churches in need of repair!

Friends of Kent Churches routinely sends half of the money that sponsors raise back to their nominated church, for its own maintenance. In our case that's St Bartholomew's, Otford.
