Help Repair the Minchinhampton's Flagpole

Holy Trinity Church has a striking collection of stained glass windows, the oldest and most vulnerable of which, is the C14th Rose Window in the Lady Chapel. To repair the crumbling medieval masonry, bowing glass and rusting metal of this window alone will cost £130.000. Sponsorship is available

Story

Flags are a very British way of expressing joy and pride – they are emotive symbols that can boost local identities, strengthen community cohesion and mark civic pride.

Sadly the flagpole in the churchyard has seen better days and has been broken for some time. Despite efforts to repair the pole by those in the community, it requires specialist attention that will cost in the region of £1,100.

We hope with your support that we can achieve our fundraising goal We’d love for the flagpole to be fixed and used for occasions including the Coronation of King Charles III and for the pole to be used for many generations to come as it has been for the many generations who came before.

Thank you
