Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Right then — we are Dan, Ryan, Oli and Alex. Four friends from Bingley who have clearly made a questionable life decision.

From 22nd–25th May 2026 we’ll be walking 90 miles in 4 days, finishing things off by climbing Helvellyn in the Lake District… because apparently 79 miles beforehand wasn’t quite enough.

The plan:

Day 1: Bingley → Malham

Day 2: Malham → Kirkby Lonsdale

Day 3: Kirkby Lonsdale → Ambleside

Day 4: The final push… up and over Helvellyn.

We are doing it all to raise money for Andy’s Man Club, Prostate Cancer UK, and British Heart Foundation — three brilliant charities that mean a lot to us.

Between us we’ve all seen how important their work is, whether that’s supporting men’s mental health, raising awareness and funding research for prostate cancer, or helping fund life-saving research and support for people affected by heart and circulatory diseases.

This challenge is our way of giving something back, pushing ourselves physically and mentally for causes that matter deeply to us.

If anyone would like to join us along the way — whether that’s walking a full day, just a few miles, or the final push up and over Helvellyn on the bank holiday Monday — it would mean the world to have people walking beside us.

Every step, every donation, and every message of support will help keep us moving.

If you’re able to donate, no matter how big or small, it will make a real difference to these three incredible charities. And if donating isn’t possible, sharing the page or cheering us on along the route means just as much.

Let’s see if we can turn a slightly ridiculous 90-mile challenge into something genuinely powerful for people who need support.

Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for supporting three brilliant charities.
