Story
For those of you who know me, know that when my dad, Trevor Gray was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in 2021 it crushed our world. It was the most terrifying time, we had no idea what the future had in store or what the outcome would be.
We were so lucky that dad listened to the signs his body gave him and he pushed for tests, which led to them catching the ‘aggressive cancer’ before it had spread so after an operation, lots of recovery time and constant tests, dad was given the all clear just before Christmas. However a lot of people don’t have this outcome.
When we got the news dad was going to have an operation, I went to a recording session and wrote a song about family, about realising what is important and remembering to be grateful for every day together. The song comes out 3rd November with all profits going to Prostate Cancer Uk. However streaming profits are very minimal so if you would like to donate directly through our just giving page we would absolutely love it! No donation is too small and every penny goes to helping those in need and to help beat this horrific disease that has taken too many.
My family is my world and during one of the scariest times of his life dad was always cracking jokes and even sending photos in his very fetching hospital socks and gown laughing the whole time. He is my hero and I am so proud of him.
Thank you so much for landing on my page, check out the song and if you can donate and don’t ignore the signs your body gives you.
Thank you ❤️
