My name is Honey Walker and I am 11 years old.

I have been inspired to do this by my relative Darren Forecast. I know Darren went through so much and I thought that when other people go through the same thing then I want to do anything I can to help them.

This charity helped and supported Darren and I want to help and support the London Asbestos Support Awareness Group in the same way.

One of my favourite memories of Darren was when me and my family drove to Kent (we live in Sheffield) and we stayed on a campsite and met up with Darren and Ellen and Aunty Sally and we all sat around the fire and Darren played frisbee with me, we all had a good laugh and always were laughing when we were with Darren.

London Asbestos Support Awareness Group provides practical and emotional support to anyone affected by mesothelioma and other asbestos-related diseases across London and The South East. The team understand the impact such diseases have on individuals and their families, both physically and psychologically, and are very experienced in delivering support at home, over the phone and at our monthly support groups. They are knowledgeable about benefits and compensation schemes, and maintain close liaison with other key professionals in the care of the sufferer and their families.
