I am running the London Marathon for Jersey Hospice Care as this charity makes such a massive, positive impact on the island and helps so, so many familys handle very sad, unimaginable situations in the best way possible.

My family have personally been supported by Jersey Hospice Care when they took exceptional care of my Granny during the last few weeks of her life. All the staff at hospice are extremely kind and caring to both patients and family's and without them and their hardwork, support and incredible facilities I can't begin to imagine how much harder our family's situation would have been without their kindness and support. It will be coming up to the 10th year (May 19th) this year without my amazing Granny in this world, so, this one's for her ❤️

Jersey Hospice Care costs A LOT of money to run each day, money that is vital so that families can have respite when needed and most importantly, be together, comfortable, in a caring and kind environment when end of life care is needed. I think every family deserves this.

Jersey Hospice Care is a specialist palliative care service and the island’s only hospice, providing holistic care for patients with any life limiting condition. Jersey Hospice Care is an independent charity and makes no charge to patients. It costs over £20,000 a day to run the charity’s services. Funding for our care services is thanks to the generosity of Islanders.
