The Story of Carepack UK

Founded in 2017 as a personal project by Hootan Ahmadi to help rough sleepers in London, 30 backpacks were distributed by Christmas 2017.

Since then the Care Pack has upscaled thanks to the generous donations received over the last five years. With over 2,500 bags delivered in the last five years, the impact this project has been significant and we are hoping to continue this for 2023.

Each year we source products for our 'winter bags', which include essential items and resources for homeless individuals and those rough sleeping across the UK. The resources include gloves, a sleeping bag, roll mat and many more essentials. We carefully select our items to help those in need make it though the winter months with a greater degree of comfort - although we know this isn't a solution to the problem.
