From Hooves to Shoes: 100 Miles for DPJ

Shannon Foley is raising money for The DPJ Foundation
The DPJ Foundation is a Welsh charity to support those in rural communities and in agriculture with mental health problems. We do this by reducing the stigma that surrounds poor mental health, educating people with mental health awareness training and providing counselling and a 24/7 helpline.

Story

I am taking on the 100-mile challenge throughout February to raise money for the DPJ Foundation, a charity dedicated to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of people in the agricultural and rural community.

Farming life can be isolating, physically demanding and emotionally tough. The DPJ Foundation provides vital counselling, support and education, helping individuals and families navigate mental health challenges and reminding them that they are not alone.

Every mile walked, run, biked or ridden helps fund life-changing support, break down stigma around mental health, and ensure help is available when it’s needed most.

By raising money, we’re not just moving our bodies — we’re making a real difference to lives within our rural communities.

Donate. Share. Support. Every mile matters.
