Story

Hi everyone!

I’m Hope, and I’ve been given the amazing opportunity to climb Mount Kilimanjaro with UofG next August, in support of Amnesty International UK through Choose a Challenge! 🗻

Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s tallest mountain at 5,895m, will be a huge challenge, but I’m so excited to take it on with this amazing team, raise funds for a great cause, and make incredible memories together!

This challenge means so much to me, it’s not only a once in a lifetime adventure, but also a chance to raise vital funds for Amnesty International, a movement of ordinary people from across the world standing up for humanity and human rights.

Recent campaigns include refugee and migrant rights, climate change, children's rights, women's rights, Syrian conflict and LGBTQ+ rights. Amnesty's biggest achievements include outlawing torture, holding war criminals to account and controlling the arms trade.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated and will go directly towards supporting Amnesty’s incredible work.

If you’d like to support me on this journey, you can donate here on my JustGiving page! 💛

Thank you so much for your support!
