A group of 6 from Breedon, Hope Cement works will be taking part in the High Peak 40 Mile challenge in September.

The High Peak 40 is a 40.5 mile loop starting and ending in Buxton, Derbyshire, consisting of approximately 5800 ft elevation gain and terrain split of 65% trail/35% road, passing through the Goyt valley, Mam tor, Castleton, Tideswell, Deepdale and Chelmorton.

This year we would like to raise some money for a brilliant local charity based in Buxton, the Thomas Theyer Foundation. They support children and young people with special educational needs and those experiencing difficult life circumstances, their families/carers. TTF recognises the many physical and mental health benefits of exercise and strive to increase access to exercise, in particular outdoor activities. TTF supports young people with mental health support through therapeutic services.
