Rowing has been a part of my life for over a decade, aligning my physical, mental, and spiritual well-being in ways nothing else can. I genuinely love and adore this sport because it’s more than a sport—it helps me show up as my best in all areas of life.

I moved to New Jersey 3 months ago and joined the Passaic River Rowing Association (PRRA), and I want to give back to the club that has given me so much in such a short time. PRRA has been an incredibly welcoming and inclusive community, breaking the stereotype of rowing as a restrictive sport. As a nearly 30-year-old (emphasis on nearly) master's rower, I get to share the water with people from all different backgrounds and levels. It's rare to find a place that makes the sport so accessible while also fostering such a strong sense of connection.

Every bit of support helps PRRA maintain equipment, grow programs, and keep the river open to everyone who wants to experience the joy of rowing.
