Our young people were introduced to rugby league back in February 2022. They have attended numerous matches at Headingly Stadium, watching the Leeds Rhinos. They wouldn’t have been able to have this experience without the support from the Leeds Rhinos Foundation. The young people feel part of a community and now have a hobby that they enjoy.

One story the young people have followed closely is the fight for MND and the awareness that Rob Burrow and Kevin Sinfield have raised. They have watched all the documentaries and were present when Kevin Sinfield finished his 7 ultra marathons in 7 days, at the World Cup Final.

They have found the fundraising aspect very inspiring and have chosen to take part in the Yorkshire 3 Peaks along with carers to raise funds for the Leeds Rhinos Foundation and the Motor Neurone Disease Association. In support of this carers and young people from the residential homes across the Yorkshire Region will be supporting in this walk.
