Donations cannot currently be made to this page

On 17 July 2026, over 500 HSAT staff will unite at Redcar Racecourse for HSAT 5.0, a 5km walk celebrating teamwork, wellbeing and success, while strengthening connections across our Trust.

The number of people diagnosed with cancer is growing, we're doing whatever it takes to help more people with cancer get the best care the UK has to offer, whoever and wherever they are. To donate, volunteer, raise money or campaign with us, call 0300 1000 200 or visit macmillan.org.uk

Story

Macmillan Cancer Support is one of the UK’s leading charities supporting people affected by cancer. For over 100 years, they have provided vital help from the moment of diagnosis, offering information, guidance and support to help people live as fully as possible during and after cancer.

The charity supports individuals and families at every stage of their cancer experience, providing emotional, physical, practical and financial support, as well as working to improve cancer care and influence national policy. Their work ensures that no one has to face cancer alone, delivering care, compassion and expertise when it matters most.

This fundraising page has been created to collect donations ahead of the event, with all funds raised going directly to Macmillan Cancer Support, helping them continue their vital work supporting individuals and families across the UK.

HSAT 5.0 is a celebration of our values in action:

- Opportunities for all – inclusive participation across every role and academy

- Opportunities to care – supporting wellbeing and life-changing charitable work

- Opportunities together – strengthening partnerships across our Trust community

- Opportunities for life – modelling aspiration, compassion and community responsibility

By supporting this page, you are directly contributing to a cause that makes a profound difference to families facing some of life’s most difficult circumstances.

Together, as one HSAT community, we are walking not only to connect and celebrate - but to care, to give, and to make a lasting impact.
