A few of the staff from Horsfield & Smith are dusting off their running shoes and taking part in the Bury 10K to raise much needed funds for Age UK Bury.

Age UK Bury is an independent local charity. Their trustees are local older people who are passionate about making a difference for older people in Bury.

The Charity relies on your support to keep serving the community. They are supported by donations from the public, income from their charity shops and the Jubilee Centre.

Too many older people have already struggled through months of sacrifice and uncertainty because of the cost of living crisis.

Many older people on lower incomes have cut back on every expense possible – switching off the heating, eating just one meal a day and barely leaving the house just to make ends meet. The impact can be devastating. And there's no end in sight.
