We’re proud to be taking part in the Dragon Boat Race 2026 in support of Woking & Sam Beare Hospice, a cause that means so much to all of us. Our team is made up of staff from across the organisation and some of our Trustees.

As Hospice Heroes, we’ll be swapping our day jobs for paddles and teamwork, taking on the challenge of racing on the water to raise vital funds for local hospice care. It’s going to be fun, noisy, and a little bit competitive — but most importantly, it’s all for an incredible cause.

Every day, Woking & Sam Beare Hospice provides compassionate care and support to people living with life-limiting illnesses, as well as emotional, psychological and spiritual support for their families. Their work makes a real difference to people across our community when they need it most.
