Hospitality heroes are running against homelessness again in 2024.

We are a group of hospitality owners, operators, suppliers, marketeers and freelancers all running every day between 1st and 24th December to hopefully raise £10,000 for Only A Pavement away and transform the lives of between 50 and 100 people in 2025.

Runners can run any distance, any speed, any time of day... as long as they run every day between 1st and 24th December.

Only A Pavement Away not only supports people get into hospitality jobs, but also offers training & financial support to ensure the candidates can start and sustain their employment. The funds raised during last years 19k every day challenge, as well as those raised this year, will contribute to the "Grant's Pot”. These grants are designed to provide stability and ongoing support for individuals, covering a wide range of needs, including interview clothing, transport cards, food vouchers, accommodation deposits, and much more, all aimed at helping members overcome barriers and stay on track in their careers.

Grants include:

• £250 - £300 – A month of travel costs to work

• £100 - £150 – A month of grocery and toiletries

• £100 - £150 – Clothes for interviews

• £25 - £30 – Phone costs

• £100 – Bike purchase for travel to work/interview

• £82.50 – Documents Renewal

• £300 - £400 – Accommodation Deposit

• £200 - £250 – Medical Expenses

• £80 - £100 – Phone purchase
