This year at Hot Lotus, we will be holding a number of fundraising events to raise money for brain tumour research.
Our first event was a special inferno-thon on Saturday 17th January.

The day was jam packed with 5, classes of either Inferno Hot Pilates, sculpt, kettlebells and barre. It was definitely a challenge but we had a lot offun along the way and more importantly we raised money for a well deserving charity that is very close to our hearts.

We will continue to hold events throughout the year and will invite our community of students to donate to brain tumour research for having the opportunity to participate.

We raising money in memory of Duncan Ayerst, Hugh's son, he passed away suddenly on Christmas Day 2021 having fought this disease for almost 5 years.

5 years is the average life expectancy of someone diagnosed with a brain tumour. Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet historically just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease.

Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this!

They are the only national charity in the UK focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours through campaigning to increase the national investment in brain tumour research to £35 million per year, while fundraising to create a network of seven sustainable Brain Tumour Research Centres of Excellence across the UK.
